Retail Business Services Subsidiary Infinity Meat Solutions to Construct State-of-the-Art Fresh Meat Packaging Facility in Rhode Island
New Facility Expected to Employ 700, Open in Late 2019
Ahold Delhaize USA services company Retail Business Services, through a subsidiary, Infinity Meat Solutions, announced that it plans to construct a state-of-the-art, 200,000 square-foot fresh packaged meat facility in Rhode Island. Ahold Delhaize USA, parent company of Retail Business Services, will make a $100 million investment in the facility, which is expected to employ about 700 people and open in late 2019.
Retail Business Services President Roger Wheeler said: "At Retail Business Services, we're always seeking innovative solutions that enable the local brands of Ahold Delhaize USA to provide fresh, quality products to their customers. With this facility, we're excited to enhance supply chain operations, as well as create hundreds of new jobs in Rhode Island."
The company expects to break ground on the new facility in October 2018.
