Four RBS Associates to Participate in McKinsey Black Leadership Program
We’re proud to announce that four Retail Business Services – the services company of Ahold Delhaize USA – associates are embarking on the McKinsey Black Leadership Program’s Management Accelerator program. This prestigious opportunity is designed for high-performing Black managers to prepare them make the leap into senior leadership roles, with a focus on helping participants gain core management and leadership skills.
The participating associates from Retail Business Services are:
Sonya Carter – Human Resources Business Partner
Andrew Plummer – Service Delivery Manager
Cassandra Taylor – Portfolio Manager
Kara Goode – Director, Counsel
The Management Accelerator program began on May 18 and runs until November. Throughout the six-month course, participants will learn practical tools to overcome common mindset challenges, build management muscle through problem solving and strategic thinking, and explore cross-functional topics including strategy, finance, operations and risk.
“This is a great opportunity for these associates and another example of how Retail Business Services is proactively driving diversity, equity and inclusion as part of our commitment to be a better place to work,” said Angela Spence, Director of Diversity and Inclusion. “And we plan to offer more development programs for associates in the months ahead. All associates are encouraged to own their own development and talk about a desire to participate in development programs with managers through the Individual Development Plan process.”
