Talal Virk Joins Retail Business Services
Retail Business Services – the services company of Ahold Delhaize USA – is pleased to share that Talal Virk has
joined the Retail Business Services Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as Director of FP&A for Information Technology, bringing more than 20 years of experience to the role.
Talal will lead financial planning and reporting activities for IT, ensuring the department’s strategies and operational objectives are reflected in long-range plans and annual budgeting. He and his team will develop and report on key metrics and develop business cases for new opportunities, both for Retail Business Services as well as Ahold Delhaize USA’s local brands’ IT needs.
Before joining Retail Business Services, Talal led IT finance functions at JCPenney. Earlier, he held finance leadership roles at Dean Foods, PepsiCo, Hotels.com/Expedia Inc, Bank of America and IntegraColor Inc. He holds two MBAs, additional degrees covering finance and math, statistics and economics and a diploma in computer applications.
Talal will be based out of the Quincy office. He and his wife, Fozia, and two sons, ages 14 and 10 currently live in Plano, Texas. Outside of the office, Talal enjoys volunteering with local law enforcement citizen committees and can often be found on a cricket pitch.
