Two Retail Business Services Leaders Named 'Women of Influence'
This year, two Retail Business Services, the services company of Ahold Delhaize USA, leaders were named to The Griffin Report's 15th annual edition of Women of Influence in the Food Industry. The award recognizes those who exhibit outstanding leadership, dedication and civic responsibility within the industry.
The 2020 award recipients include Kimberly Bridgham, Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for the Supply Chain, and Gail Goolkasian, Vice President of Legal Affairs, Employment, Labor and Benefits Law.
Bridgham has worked with Retail Business Services for about a year and says one of her career highlights is getting to mentor associates.
"The best moments for me are watching and helping talented associates thrive and grow," she said. "It is extremely rewarding when an associate says, 'Thank you for believing in me and coaching me to take on additional responsibilities.'"
Goolkasian has been with Retail Business Services for two years and offers advice for up-and-coming professionals.
"Stay true to your values and never compromise your integrity," she said. "Also, don't work so hard that you forgo relationships with friends, colleagues and peers in your functional area, organization, industry or community. These relationships can be enriching on a personal level, as well as a great source of professional support and advice."
These women were selected for making a difference in the grocery industry and for being willing to step out of their comfort zone and take risk.
