The Indirect Sourcing organization, also known as Not for Resale, sources billions of dollars in annual spend of indirect goods and services at the best overall total cost of ownership. In Direct Sourcing, the team procures tens of billions of dollars annually in goods sold in local brand retail sources, acquiring the right products to support local initiatives and strategies at the best cost of goods.
The local brands of Ahold Delhaize USA operate some of the most extensive supply chain operations on the East Coast, including more than 1,000 trucks that travel more than 120 million miles annually and deliver over 1 billion cases to local brand stores. The Retail Business Services Supply Chain organization provides all those services that keep those supply chains running, including: supply chain strategy, distribution, transportation, third party contracts, logistics, demand management and continuous improvement.
